The Ugly Mug Cafe houses one of the first small batch artisan roasteries in the state of Michigan, and was the among the first to introduce the true art of third-wave specialty coffee. The Roastmasters of The Ugly Mug Cafe implement a combination of scientific theory and culinary execution to develop a sophisticated and complex cup, bound to enthrall and enlighten the senses. As a cafe and roastery, it is our mission to provide our clients and consumers with not only a quality product, but an extensive knowledge of coffee and its surrounding culture.
